To support our mission of empowering individuals with the tools and confidence needed to secure meaningful employment, we are launching a Job Readiness Workshop Series. This project involves hiring a skilled and dynamic trainer to design and facilitate a series of hands-on, interactive, and educational workshops aimed at preparing participants for the workforce. The workshops will focus on developing essential soft skills and practical tools for job seekers, such as resume writing, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, and effective communication. The goal is to increase participants’ confidence, employability, and readiness to succeed in today’s job market.
The selected trainer will bring both expertise and creativity to the sessions, using engaging, real-world activities that promote active learning and skill application. Each workshop will be designed to accommodate diverse learning styles and meet the unique needs of various populations, including youth, veterans, individuals re-entering the workforce, and those facing employment barriers. This project is a critical step in our broader workforce development initiative, which aims to improve job placement rates and long-term employment outcomes for our community.
