The El Paso Chamber, in partnership with Workforce Solutions Borderplex, will be hosting the State of the Workforce, a key gathering for business leaders, policymakers, and community members focused on the current and future landscape of the workforce in our region. Scheduled for February 21st at 10 A.M. at the El Paso Convention Center, this event aims to provide valuable insights into workforce development, challenges, and opportunities within the El Paso region.
The State of the Workforce will feature prominent industry experts, with the keynote address being given by Leila Melendez, President & CEO of Workforce Solutions Borderplex, who will share her perspective on various topics such as workforce trends, educational pathways, skill development, and the impact of technology on jobs.
In addition to speakers, the event will have a live reverse hiring fair featuring 20 talented individuals actively seeking new opportunities. This gives businesses a chance to add skilled professionals to their teams, as well as discover strategies for business growth, like incumbent worker training and fidelity bonding. Attendees will also be able to explore how to access grants and subsidies from the government and private institutions.
